Responsible Technology

The commitments that shape what we build with AI — and what we decline to build.

Last updated 24 October 2026

Why this matters

Automation changes how decisions get made. A system that routes a claim, screens an applicant or answers a customer is making consequential choices at speed and scale. We think the people affected deserve systems that are understandable, correctable and supervised.

Our principles

Human oversight
Consequential decisions keep a person in the loop. We design for review, override and escalation rather than full automation of judgement calls.
Transparency
People should be able to tell when they are interacting with an AI system. We build assistants that identify themselves and offer a route to a human.
Fairness
We test for performance differences across the groups a system will serve, and treat an unexplained gap as a defect, not a cost of doing business.
Privacy by design
Minimisation, access control and retention limits are decided during design, not retrofitted after launch.
Accountability
Every system we deliver has a named owner on both sides and a documented path for raising a problem.

How this shows up in delivery

  • We agree what a system must not do, and the conditions under which it should defer to a person, before we build it.
  • We evaluate model and vendor choices on accuracy, cost, data handling and the ability to explain a result — not on capability alone.
  • We test with realistic cases, including the awkward and adversarial ones, and we document known limitations rather than quietly leaving them.
  • We instrument systems so quality can be monitored after launch, because model behaviour and business processes both drift.
  • We hand over documentation that lets a client understand, operate and change what we built.

Work we decline

We do not build systems whose purpose is to deceive people about who or what they are dealing with, to carry out covert surveillance of individuals, to score or rank people on protected characteristics, or to make irreversible decisions about a person's liberty, livelihood or care without human review. If an engagement drifts toward one of these, we say so and stop.

Raising a concern

If you believe a system we built is behaving unfairly or causing harm, tell us at hello@ravisolutions.ai. We will look into it and respond. Concerns raised in good faith are welcome from anyone, not only from clients.

How to reach us

Questions about responsible technology can go to our privacy and trust contact at hello@ravisolutions.ai, or by phone at +1 289-992-4445. We aim to acknowledge every enquiry within five business days.

TODO_COPY — add the registered postal address. CASL requires a valid mailing address in commercial messages, and PIPEDA expects a named, reachable accountable person.
